Today's Crush: Caroline Gomez

Today I'm in love with the style of Caroline Gomez. I discovered her website a little while ago & love, love, love the photography, fresh colours & simplicity! Mini DIY

A while ago I bought this pink vest at the thrift shop. It's not really my style but I love the colour & texture so I made a little pillow case out of it! The poster was a gift in the latest Flow issue (love this magazine!!). The chair I got from a sweet friend... Thanks Ineke! I hope you are having a good & relaxing weekend? I had a girls night out which I'm still recovering from ;) This week I will start with a detox treatment which I tell you more about later. Nothing serious though, just trying to be healthy (aren't we all)!

A Happy Home

When we first moved into this home I was in a little bit of a hurry getting everything finished. I picked out some nice wallpaper & was pretty happy with the improvement of some of the rooms (from all kinds of strange colours to a lot of white!). But you know the drill... Once you start blogging & pinning you'll probably want to change it al over again! The same goes for me and a few weeks ago I decided it was time to give our guest room a little make over! I removed the wallpaper, added even more white and made some new pillow covers with the blankets my mom collected for me. I love the combination of the white & the bright colours... I think this room is ready for a sleep-over!

Lucky Me!

Last week I received a package from Paqhuis. I was one of the lucky winners of the Give Away by Lisanne van de Klift! She organized a Give Away together with the lovely brand Paqhuis. This brand is an initiative by two friends Karlijn & Femke. These girls design their own prints and products which are very easy to love! My new Bedroom Wall

This weekend I finished my new & improved bedroom wall! I collected some of my favorite black & white pictures via Pinterest and made my own photo collage with it! I also used a couple of MDF panels and painted them in black before I glued the prints on them. This way you'll get a subtle 3D effect! I'm so happy with the result, now I can stare at these beautiful images every night before I fall asleep... Have a good week!!

Oh Marie & Het Reizend Kringloopgezelschap

Last week I received a lovely package from Marieke (Een Dotje Wat) who joined "Het Reizend Kringloopgezelschap" from the fabulous online magazine "Oh Marie". Het Reizend Kringloopgezelschap translated, is kind of like "The Travelling Thriftshop Society". The founder of Oh Marie started this by giving out a couple of unique Thrift Shop items at the launch of the first Oh Marie Magazine. The Thrift Shop items travel from one place to another. Isn't that the greatest idea ever? Oh Marie is a new online magazine about photography, DIY, styling & vintage with a twist! Click here to see the latest issue. The oriental coaster was wrapped in a beautiful hand painted newspaper which I just had to use for this picture! I made a still with some of my latest Thrift Shop finds which match perfectly with the coaster!

Vorige week ontving ik een pakketje van Marieke van het blog Een Dotje Wat. Zij deed mee aan "Het Reizend Kringloopgezelschap" dat een initiatief is van Marlous. Je kent haar vast wel van "Planet Fur" of van het geweldige online magazine "Oh Marie". Oh Marie is een tweetalig online magazine dat gaat over fotografie, DIY, styling & vintage met een twist!

Het Reizend Kringloopgezelschap is begonnen bij de lancering van Oh Marie Magazine. Hier zijn verschillende kringloop vondsten uitgedeeld en die reizen nu van het ene plekje naar het andere. Degene die hier aan meedoet maakt een mooie foto van het item en stuurt dit uiteindelijk weer door naar de volgende kringloop liefhebber! Ik vind het een fantastisch idee! Marieke stuurde mij de Oriëntaalse onderzetter. Ik heb deze gecombineerd met mijn laatste kringloop schatten die mooi matchen met het onderzettertje! Het handgeschilderde krantenpapier moest ik gebruiken! Hiermee was de onderzetter ingepakt! Ik ben nog steeds benieuwd of Marieke dit zelf heeft beschilderd!!

Attic Shots in Viva!

Hello dear readers! Are you enjoying the start of your weekend? I haven't had the chance to show you my publication in Viva yet!
